Here I am 34 weeks :)
Week 32 Doctor's Appointment
Week 32
Week 31
Our little lady-bug, Kori Lane Rich, was born May 27th, 2014. She was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 19 3/4 in. long. I went in to be induced at 3:00 am that morning and got settled in my room about 3:30. The nurse came in and got me started on some antibiotics and petosin and I was only at a 4 then! They tried to go ahead and break my water, but Kori's head was so low and in the way, they only poked it a little and so it slowly dripped...not even a leak. It took me a while to get to a 6....that happened about 12:15 when they checked me. They then decided they could get to my water sac to break it, and so they did! Right before they did, I told the doctor not to leave because as soon as they broke my water I was going to have a baby. He laughed and said he would be back in a little to check on me and both he and the nurse left. As soon as they did she was right there and I was trying not to push. I was in intense pain, but it was nice to experience if that makes sense. Mom got a nurse for me and when she checked me I was ready. She had me do a practice push and stopped me in the middle of it so she could call/text the doctor. He rushed on over and by that point it was 12:30. Once he got all dressed and ready, he told me to push and that was about 12:35 lol. I pushed 3 times and he stopped me and there she was!! PERFECT! She was so beautiful and perfect and it felt like an eternity until they brought her to me to hold! Then, Keaton got there and we had our family all together. So many indescribably emotions were going on. I just love my perfect little family! We are crazy and weird, but mine!

37 Weeks:
Well...I am 37 weeks!!! Woot Woot! The end is near and we will get to meet "baby sister" any time now!! :) Her room is finally coming together and we have carseat ready to go, hospital and diaper bag packed, plans-ish made for when baby comes/labor starts, etc. The only thing I haven't really gotten done that I wanted to was some maternity pictures. I didn't do any with Keaton and I would have really liked to this time, but I am not sure if that will happen. I could try and do some of myself in the yard and house lol, but we will see what happens.
I had a doctor's appointment on Thursday the 8th and got to do my ultrasound and exam! Baby sister was hiding her eyes, but we did get a quick peek at her little nose and mouth! Totally mine!! ;) She is 6.5 lbs and starting at 34 weeks you hit the point where the baby is supposed to gain a lb. a week, so it looks like unless she comes this week (which could happen)...I could be delivering an 8-8 1/2 lb baby (Keaton was 7 lbs. 8 oz.).!!! The doctor said I was for sure at a 2-possibly more but he didn't want to disturb things too much feeling around. He said my amniotic fluid was still good, but low, and that my belly was huge, but looking good! lol. He told me to come back this upcoming Thursday and see if I have progressed any further. If I have, we may be having a baby this weekend with a little bit up help :).
So...that is about it...I am working on my check list, drinking lots, walking some and trying to keep moving around so she gets "into position"....and lots of waiting!
35 Weeks Today:
I am 35 weeks today and am so ready to have this girl! She has no room so she is making me very uncomfortable ( normal pregnancy complaints ). But, other than that we are doing well. I had my baby shower this weekend on Saturday the 26th and it was FANTASTIC!! I feel so much better now that I actually have stuff for her haha! I have clothes- shoes- and accessories, diapers, wipes, receiving blankets and regular blankets, burp clothes, bibs, and bath stuff. We are ready! I am so very grateful to all who came and sent gifts and for all your love and support! It was perfect!! THANK YOU!!!
Hopefully we get a name narrowed down soon. And, hopefully we will find out more news at my next appointment on the 8th and be able to know more of when she will make her debut and things like that. We are getting so close!!!
Here is another bathroom pic of me lol (I am so not good at these), and shower pictures are to come! ( I am working on those)
34 Weeks and Counting
Well baby sister is ready to come out! She is definitely making her presence known and I feel that she will make her debut soon! We had a little episode again where I ran to the ER/ L&D yesterday because I was having pretty intense contractions that were 5 min. apart and 50-60s in duration. I had lots of other preggo bodily issues going on in increasing amounts so that made me wonder....and i was pretty positive I wasn't about to have a baby, but I felt weird and just wanted to know what was going on. I had been having contractions since 12:00 (noon) on Sunday and couldn't sleep that night and they continued until about 1:00 on Monday afternoon when I got a short break from them for about 2 hrs. They picked back up and I started to panic a little so I called my doctor's office. They told me what to do and there I went...off to L&D to see what was going on. I also knew when I woke up Monday morning that I could breathe again and had more pressure in my pelvis, so I knew that she had probably "dropped" or "lightened" (as they say with your 2nd + baby (yes) ). When I got there and got all hooked up after checking into the ER...of course my contractions stopped!! AGH!! But, I was showing some activity on the monitor monitoring for contractions and the diagnosis came back that I had/have a "cranky" uterus right now lol. Baby sister's drop and my level of activity was making my uterus irritable and causing me to have contractions and other pains. Along with that; however, I am dilated to a 1..almost 2. So.... I will probably be having this baby in a couple of weeks instead of 6! (I am calling my doctor in just a few min. to see if he wants me to come in before my next appointment on May 8th, or just stick it out until then).
Week 32 Doctor's Appointment
Well I had an interesting doctor's appointment. Nothing super exciting this week, just a routine "check-up", BUT....as the doctor was feeling my uterus and listening to baby sister's heart beat he asked how big I got with Keaton, how much he weighed at birth, did I have any trouble delivering him, etc. I gave him the answers to his question and asked why, and he replied that baby sister might end up being bigger than Keaton. She is measuring bigger most likely already, and I have technically 8 weeks left to go. He told me that because of my small frame and history with Keaton, they would watch baby sister and make sure that I would deliver before she got to be about 8 lbs.! Interesting....I like it...lol....I guess we will see when I go back at 36 weeks for my ultrasound and exam how big they think she is and will get to be. In the mean time he told me to watch my sugars to help keep her from getting too big, but that I was healthy and at a healthy weight, so that is good. I just thought it was all interesting. So, I guess I will watch my sugars and cross my fingers, and wait to know more at my 36 week appointment.
Me 7.4.11 (37 weeks with Keaton) vs. Me 4.10.14 (32 weeks with baby sister)....looks an awful lot alike...except baby sister sits lower.
Week 32
So, some of you may or may not know. We had a scare with baby sister a while back where we thought she was trying to come too soon. I was having major contractions 7 minutes apart and was in a lot of pain...and freaking out! It ended up all working out but resulted in me taking medicine when I feel contractions coming on (and these are not braxton hicks...i have those all the time and those are no biggie...i'm talking the I'm about to have a baby contractions), and to take it easy (no picking up keaton...ya right...that one has been tough, taking it easy around the house, short walks for exercise nothing more, etc. It has been slightly obnoxious not being able to do a ton, but if it keeps her in there longer and I'm not on full bed rest...I will keep doing it. This past week I have had lots of contractions and they were getting stronger, more frequent, and closer together-even with taking my medicine. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday so we will see if anything is new. Hopefully we can keep her in there for at LEAST another month. I'm good with 6 more weeks ;)
I'm just getting bigger, itchier (my belly itches like crazy!! Don't worry I am trying not to scratch), I have to pee all the time, can't sleep well, etc. , but doing great!
Week 31
So, I am now 31 weeks and 3 days and am feeling big! I am at the stage where you can't sleep, can't find clothes that fit and are cute, and have a whole list of complaints and emotions lol. I still have contractions all the time and take my medicine when they get bad, but so far at every appointment she is hanging on in there which is what we want to hear :). But, I am loving it! I can't believe that we will meet baby girl in just a few weeks!
She moves all the time, loves to kick Keaton when he sits in my lap, loves juice, loves "guitar guy" from www.mormonguitar.com (We are definitely going to have to buy his CD! Y'all will have to check it out), and loves keeping me up at night! ;)
Here are some sneak peek pictures of her room...it is coming along! (still have a little work to do...)
Here I am:
And Keaton can't wait for baby sister to come! He practices taking care of her on his baby doll like every day! It is so CUTE!!! And he keeps asking..."mom...baby sister come out now?"
I LOVE THIS GUY!!!
